This Accelerator Unit, first introduced in the K-70 and later the KP, is now a third-generation innovation in the K-1 Mark II.

The camera boasts the advanced Pixel Shift Resolution II, which originated in the K-3 II, K-70, and KP. The K-1 Mark II takes this technology one step further, capturing four shifted images of a scene, utilizing the SRII mechanism, to create a super-high-resolution composite image.

Key specifications include a 36.4MP Full-Frame CMOS sensor that delivers outstanding resolution while minimizing noise, especially due to its larger size compared to APS-C sensors, resulting in a shallower depth of field.
